10 ways to de-stress

Stress, the more you think about it the more stressful it becomes.

Self-care routines are an easy way to de-stress every day. Self-care is not a one and done sort of event, this is something you need to practice daily.

10 Ways to De-Stress

  • Create a work-life balance

  • Make time for exercise

  • Connect with the people who know you

  • Practice meditation, prayer, yoga

  • Get enough sleep

  • Pet the animals (all the animals...)

  • Start a hobby

  • Take a walk with nature

  • Listen to your favorite music

  • Cook a delicious meal with people you love

While this is not an exhaustive list of ways to de-stress it may be the beginning, much like this blog, I journal as a way to de-stress. It allows me to validate the experiences I have had while focusing on those things I am grateful for.

Whether it is a digital journal or a paper journal, start today and write about trying one of the mentioned self-care activities.
