About
Jessica Kennedy, M.Ed, LMHC, CCTP
Jessica is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and a wellness writer on the South Shore of Massachusetts who helps adults navigate grief, trauma, compassion fatigue, and the messier parts of being human. She brings a warm, direct, and deeply present approach to her work, blending clinical skill with real-world practicality to help clients reconnect with themselves, build insight, and develop tools that actually fit their lives.
As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, she specializes in trauma-informed care, as well as Compassion Fatigue and Grief Counseling. Having spent nearly a decade as a School Adjustment Counselor, she feels especially connected to educators and offers support for teachers facing the ongoing stress and demands of today’s school climate. Jessica also brings a personal understanding to her work with those navigating childlessness and step-parenting.
Jessica is trained as a First and Second Degree Practitioner of the Usui System of Reiki Healing. When appropriate and with consent, she incorporates Reiki to support relaxation, reduce stress, and promote a greater sense of well-being.
An unapologetic Disney adult and former cosmetics executive, Jessica lives by Walt's saying, "First, think. Second, dream. Third, believe. And finally, dare." Outside of work, she enjoys animal rescue, music, painting, reading, and obviously, all things Disney. She shares her life with her husband, Greg, and their beloved cats, Raine and Blue, and their puppy, Cinder.

In Memoriam
Faith will be forever in my heart and the hearts of the clients she touched. She had the infallible nature of recognizing the subtle tone change in a voice and immediately responding with her favorite toy popping up in session, letting whoever was struggling know they were not alone. She was there too. It was something I never trained her to do; it was just something she knew.
Faith, you were the best girl, and you will be forever missed.

In Memoriam
Many clients had the privelege of meeting Mr. Baxter during virtual sessions with Jessica. He was fiercly loyal to her and her greatest companion throughout his life. He is very much missed.
